Basimakopoulos Shipyard provides reliable hoisting and launching services throughout the
year using modern lifting equipment and experienced operators. Our hydraulic Travel Lift is
designed to handle a wide range of vessels, including Catamarans, safely and efficiently,
whether for short-term work or extended stays.

Our operations process

From first contact to final launch, our team coordinates each step clearly and professionally.
Boat owners are welcome to discuss requirements directly with our staff before and during operations.

Each lift is carefully planned and executed to ensure vessel safety at every stage.

The Channel

Due to the relatively small depth of Kilada bay, our company
implemented a dredging project in front of the lifting / hoisting area in
order to make vessel approach easier. "The Channel" is a marine
corridor measuring 500m in length, 40m in width and 4.2m in
depth that leads to the shipyard's dock. It's entrance is marked by
two large green and red buoys.

The Dock

The lifting and hoisting of the vessels at our shipyard take place
in an area called "The Dock", which is the specially designed
bowl shaped area where the Travel Lift is used to hoist or launch
vessels. It is the gateway to our Shipyard and measures 21m in
length, 9m in width and 4m in depth.
